Health Guarantee:  Here at Double R Aussies and Aussiedoodles,  we do our best to produce a healthy, happy, active puppy.  Your puppy has been de-wormed every 2 weeks since birth, has received a Neo-Par vaccine at age 5 weeks, a 5 way vaccine at age 6 weeks, and a Neo Par Booster vaccine at age 7 weeks.  The puppies may leave at this point, as long as  they are  with us we continue to vaccinate and de-worm them as their ages require.
Genetics play a huge part in your new puppies future health.  We do not always know the history on dogs purchased from other breeders.  Due to the genetic make-up of Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD) also known as Hip Dysplasia, Double R Aussies and Aussiedoodles can not guarantee that every puppies hips will be perfect.  DJD is a poly genetic problem which can crop up from several generations back.  Without the past history of parents and grandparents it is impossible to predict the possibility of DJD in puppies.  We do stand behind what we raise and sell and will replace any puppy that develops DJD within the first 12 months of life. Or if he/she is PennHIP and scores below 50% we will replace that puppy with proof of testing, with like size, sex, and color at the first available puppy.
What we are doing here at Double R Aussies and Aussiedoodles is PennHIP.  Go to www.pennhip.org for more information about this proven way of testing a dog’s hips. What we can guarantee is that we only use dogs that have tested good enough to be considered worthy of reproduction.  It will take us several generations to be able to predict, with any certainty, that each puppy will be free from this genetic problem.  We take DJD very seriously and are doing everything possible to eliminate DJD from our kennel. Testing each adult breeding prospect dog is an expensive process, but it’s so worth it to us. At the end of the day we want to be able to say “we’ve done all we can to assure you a genetically sound animal.”  We work very hard to make sure you get the BEST puppy possible.  Each of our adult dogs is also CERF tested to assure that there are no genetic eye problems.  We consider all aspects such as Penn HIP, CERF results, confirmation, character, personality, and color before mating our dogs.
Double R Aussies and Aussiedoodles  highly recommends that your pet puppy be spayed or neutered, however, we do sell our puppies with full breeding rights, making this your personal decision.
Your new puppy has been very well supervised while growing and living here at the Double R.  We have done all we can to get your new family member ready to live in your home.  He/she has been de-wormed, vaccinated, and will leave here free from any infectious diseases, skin infections, or respiratory infections.  Once your puppy has left our kennel we no longer have any control of what it will be exposed to. We can not be held responsible for where you take your puppy, where you set it down to go “potty” , who you let your puppy play with, or who you let hold your puppy.  Each puppy is not fully protected from potential infections such as Parvo, until they have received their full series of vaccines, at age 16 weeks.  Please be cautious of what you do with your puppy. We are not tying to scare you just caution you that puppies are like small babies, they need to be protected and good judgment used in their day to day care.  In no way is Double R Aussies or Aussiedoodles responsible for your puppy from the time he/she leaves our property.
Your puppy should be started on heart worm preventative at 8 weeks of age.  Please check with your veterinarian as to what kind they recommend.  Please take a stool sample in with you at your first visit.  Remember your puppy is still a baby, he/she needs puppy food, not human food, plenty of rest, lots of love, a safe secure place to sleep, his/her own crate is advised.  A dog is a den animal, placing them in a crate is not being mean, it’s providing them a safe den like place to sleep.  It will also make housebreaking much easier.  If you have any questions please call or email us.
