Double R Aussiedoodle Health Guarantee
Here at Double R Aussiedoodles we do our best to produce a healthy, happy, active puppy.  Your puppy has been wormed every 2 weeks from birth, has received NeoPar and NeoVac vaccines at ages 6 and 9 weeks of age.  If a puppy stays with us past 9 weeks we continue to update their vaccines as needed.

Genetics play a huge role in your new puppies future health.  Due to the genetic makeup of Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD) also known as Hip Dysplasia, Double R Aussiedoodles can not guarantee that every puppies hips will be perfect.  DJD is a poly genetic problem. Science has yet to be able to isolate the genes responsible  in making up the hip joint.  There is no way to guarantee any puppies hips.  Even testing the parents of each litter does not guarantee that each puppy will have sound hips.  All we can do is stand behind what we raise and sell.  We will replace any puppy that develops DJD within the first 12 months of life.  We will replace any puppy that has been Penn HIP tested and scores below 50% by age 12 months.  We replace with another puppy of like sex, size and color...at the first available.  Proof of testing must be provided to us before any puppy will be replaced.  We must have documentation from a licensed veterinarian before any puppy will be replaced.  Please go to www.pennhip.org for more information about this proven way of testing a dog's hips.

Double R Aussiedoodles does not refund money on any puppy we sell.  A replacement puppy will be selected, as close to the original as possible, should your puppy develop a genetic problem within the first 12 months of age.  Written proof from a veterinarian, describing the problem, must be provided before any puppy will be replaced.  Double R Aussiedoodles reserves the right to make the final decision on selecting a puppy for the replacement.  Double R Aussiedoodles will not be responsible for paying any medical expenses incurred during the time you have your puppy.  If you take him/her for medical treatment you are responsible for paying  all expenses incurred.
We test all our breeding stock dogs eyes with the CERF test.  We do not register the results with the CERF foundation as that is just another expense.  We can provide a copy of the Doctor's report should you find that necessary.  We only test adult dogs, puppies are not tested before they leave our kennel.

Double R Aussiedoodles highly recommends that your pet puppy be spayed or neutered, however, we do sell our puppies with full breeding rights...making this your personal decision.

Your new puppy has been very well supervised while growing and living here at the Double R.  We have done all we can to get your new family member ready to live in your home.  It has been wormed, vaccinated, and will leave here free from any infectious diseases, skin infections, or respiratory infections.  We may send your puppy home with medications and instructions on how to give them should we feel they are needed.  Once your puppy has left our kennel  we no longer have any control of what it will be exposed to.  We can not be held responsible for where you take your puppy, where you set it down to go "potty", who you let your puppy play with, or who you let hold your puppy.  Each puppy is not fully protected from potential infections, such as Parvo, until they have received their full series of vaccines at age 16 weeks.  Please be cautious of what you do with your puppy.  We are not trying to scare you, just caution you.  Puppies are like small babies, they need to be protected and good judgment used in their day to day care.  In no way will Double R Aussiedoodles be responsible for your puppy from the time it leaves our property.

Your puppy should be started on heartworm preventative after age 9 weeks.  Please check with your veterinarian as to what type of medication they recommend. Please inform your veterinarian that your puppy is part herding dog, they may require a different heartworm preventative.  Remember your puppy is still a baby.  It needs puppy food, not human food, plenty of rest, lots of love, a safe secure place to sleep.  His own crate is advised.  A dog is a den animal, placing them in a crate is not being mean, it's providing them a safe "den like" place to sleep.  It will also make housebreaking a much easier task.  If you have any questions please call or email us.
