We are offering some of our beloved adult dogs for sale. This decision is based on the fact that despite being in retirement for a few years now and us enjoying their time here, they would be great candidates to be placed in homes. All of our dogs we have raised from puppies and love them dearly so this is the hardest part of what we do, but as the faithful stewards of these “wiggle-butts” we want to offer the chance for people to have our retired adult dogs as their own. They are the best of Double R and truly deserve everything we can offer them even if that means they get a new family. This opportunity does not happen often and may be for families searching for an older companion or for people who are not interested in the puppy phase and want the later phase age of dog owning. As bad as we want to keep them all we know they can still bless other families with their sweet dispositions and unique personalities. Each dog has a story and a set of characteristics I would be happy to discuss with anyone who is serious about caring for our adults, in the meantime we will keep loving them and enjoying their company here until we find the right fit for them…..We have a few adult dogs that we are retiring and they would all make excellent pets.
