Hazel Nut is a chocolate Standard Poodle with a natural tail! Hazelnut was injured through the fence by a neighboring female last fall and despite our efforts to save her front leg, the vet said it was in her best interest to amputate it…With that being said it has not slowed her down one bit. She is still her playful self and gets around just as well as ever. I have had her in the house and she has been good with crate training and is house trained. I would monitor her first as she settles in but she has not made any messes when in the house. She is so good with my 5 year old son and is an old soul type of dog. Hazel is a beautiful girl, with a great temperament, not a mean bone in her body. Hazel stands 23 inches @ her shoulder, weighing in @ 40-45 pounds. She has a beautiful Poodle hair coat! I have had her with other dogs and she tolerates them just fine.
